1982 Harley-Davidson Sportster

Iron head Sportster. New generator, voltage regulator, speedometer, battery. Runs good. The brakes work.  This cool bike was a trade in for an old Triumph motorcycle and it did not run . The gas tank was missing and the wiring was wacked as if it was on it's way to chopper town. We fixed all the problems, cleaned the carb, adjusted the valves and fired it up. It looks like it was not ridden much.  The factory speedometer is missing. it has been replaced by a custom , chrome speedometer. I do not know the mileage. What ever mileage it says in the ad is incorrect. There is little evidence the engine was worked on. It does not smoke or leak oil. It starts and idles like it is supposed to with the POTATO, POTATO sound. It is getting hard to find old iron heads that are not choppers now. For sale at Easley Cycle Repair in Easley SC.
