    Vehicle Details
Great little flat fender that has some fun but undocumented history.
I was told when I bought it that it spent most of its life on a motor yacht on the Great Lake and acted as a shore vehicle for the owner at the time. After it’s retirement it sat in a barn for a long period of time before it was found by a local mechanic who I purchased it from. He owned it for roughly 7 years and went through the fluids and changed them, converted it to 12 volt and put new tires on.
I’ve added a few unique details such as the old growth redwood on the seat frames and a little bit of artistic body repairs with salvaged metal from the 40’s and 50’s to keep its vintage appeal.
I have driven it around my village briefly after getting the Solex carb to cooperate for a moment. I’ve since swapped out that carb for it’s original and rebuilt Carter WO although I’m waiting for a fuel line from the fuel pump to the carb to come in as the two carbs have different fittings.
It starts up, runs, drives and starts albeit with the vigor of a 72 year old vehicle. The frame appears to be in good solid shape. The body is fair and frankly I like the wear and tear it’s seen and now shows and it appears to have had a paint job many years ago in its original color (Harvard Red) as it has a cool pinstriping and bits of Luzon red paint on parts of the body.
I want to mention that it comes with an extra transfer case and transmission along with what I think is the old 6 volt starter. I think the transfer case has been rebuilt but I can’t verify that other than to show its very clean.
My intention was to slowly rebuild the driveline and suspension as time passes but keep the body the way it appears as it’s a great blend of vintage beauty.
The windshield on the passenger side is cracked but is stable and I like the way it looks.
I’m not thrilled about selling it but life happens and I’ll own another someday again as I’ve owned 7 of these in my lifetime. They are a thrill to drive and to tinker with. Parts are easy to get and to install. It really is a form of art I think but one that you can have a visual, heard and smelled sensation that takes one to a different time.
I have the title from the previous owner but have not been able to make an appointment for my Secretary of State to get that into my name ( COVID changed a lot of things). I can give that and a bill of sale.
I think that’s it but if you have questions feel free to text first and I will call you back (231)409-3866.
    My name is Zach.
